Calendula-Goji Berry Tea
This tea is not only beautiful but it is also full great of benefits!
Calendula flower is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. It helps calm muscle spams, aids PMS cramps, improves oral health and it helps fight cancer.
Goji Berries is also packed with great benefits. In traditional medicine, goji berries were used to strengthen the immune system, improve eyesight, lower cholesterol levels, and control diabetes. Goji berry has also been associated with improved liver health, cardiovascular protection, potential anti-cancer impact, and protection of brain cells and skin from UV radiations.
Calendula-Goji Berry Tea Recipe
1 Cup water
2 Fresh/Dried Calendula flower, cut stem off
(I removed all the petals from one of the flower and kept the other whole)
Handful of Goji berries
Boil the water. Place flowers and goji berries in a mug and pour the boiling water on top.
Let it steep for 8 minutes. You can remove the flower if you want but I actually like to eat the petal with the goji berries, plus it all looks so beautiful!
