The Sahaswara (Crown Chakra), is referred to as the thousand-petal lotus chakra. This seventh chakra, is the top chakra of the seven and located at the crown of the head. Sahaswara is our source of enlightenment and spiritual connection to all that is. It is a connection to our higher selves, to every being on the planet, and ultimately the divine energy that creates everything in the universe.
An open crown chakra brings wholeness, peace, wisdom, divine power and over time brings about a greater sense of being complete, no longer feeling a sense of duality.
When the crown chakra is blocked, or not functioning fully, feelings of separation, disconnect and a lack of purpose or meaning in life happens.
Physically, a blocked Sahaswara manifests through headaches, migraines, weak memory, nervous system imbalances, poor coordination, fatigue, low vision and more.
How to heal your Crown Chakra: - Set an intention like described above to connect with your Crown Chakra. - Use essential oils. Choose any of the essential oils or a blend of them. Add 5 drops of oil to a tsp of carrier oil like jojoba or almond oil. Put the oil mixture in your hands and rub them together. Deeply inhale the scent then place your hands over your Crown Chakra and allow the energy of the oils infuse your chakra OR rub the oil directly on your skin. - Meditate with a crystal of your choice while holding it on your left hand. - Chant: "OM" for few minutes. - Try Reiki and/or yoga.
